Together@StSebs for Worship and Communion
Come and join in with our monthly ‘interactive’ service in St Sebastian’s School Hall. On the 1st Sunday of the month we gather as one church family, of all ages, to worship God, share in Holy Communion and enjoy each other’s company.
There is a creche space available in the hall and lots of activities for children to get involved with so mums and dads can come along and enjoy the service – we don’t mind how loud or lively the children maybe! Plus tea/coffee and cake/biscuits before and after the service!
Everyone is welcome
Worship and the Word
This is a non-Eucharistic Service. The informal structure, complemented by a Service Book and overhead projection of the service, reflects our love for Worship Hymns / Songs, Bible readings, the Word of God and Intercessions, all within the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Occasionally, there is flexibility to adapt the service to include additional talks, possible testimonies and extended intercessions, all within the scope of responding with spiritual discernment to the wind of God’s direction. According to the 73rd chapter of Psalm: “You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny.”
The Base
A relaxed and creative service for all ages, incorporating vibrant worship, craft activities and discussion. A place for everyone to find community and grow in faith. We meet in the church hall on the 3rd Sunday of the month.
Tea, coffee and cake served throughout!
Worship and Communion
This is a Communion Service that follows an adapted Common Worship format. This service, complemented by a Service Book and overhead projection, also features Worship Hymns / Songs, Bible readings, the Word of God, Intercessions and Holy Communion. We are invited to receive the bread and wine. The bread is the body of Christ, broken for us all, and the wine is the blood of Christ, shed for the forgiveness of our sins. We receive the bread and wine in memory of Christ and His sacrifice.
The invitation for Holy Communion is open to all Christians as well as those visiting from other churches. In tradition with the Parish, this Communion Service is complemented by stations for prayer after Communion. If you would like a blessing, do come to the front and bow your head and a prayer of blessing will be shared.
Morning Worship and Communion
This service is held at 8:00am on one Sunday a month and 10:00am on one Wednesday a month. Please check the Parish calendar for the latest services.
The service follows the Common Worship structure, the service reflects the community’s love for traditional Liturgy, Bible readings, the Word of God, Reflection, Intercessions, and Holy Communion, all within the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
Praise and Worship
Join us for an enjoyable time of worship, led by a live band. Explore your faith with an engaging look at God’s word together. 6pm on the 4th Sunday every month.

We light a candle in memory of Margaret Rosemary Dolan (aged 76 years), whose Funeral Service took place earlier this afternoon at Easthampstead Park Crematorium, Bracknell (as well as livestreamed to Australia). Margaret (better known as Rosemary) was a former parishioner of St Sebastian’s and regularly attended with her Father in the past. She will be solely missed by all. Let us hold the Dolan Family in our prayers. May Rosemary rest in peace. Reverend Rickey Simpson-Gray ✝
A prayer for this week: God our redeemer, you have delivered us from the power of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of your Son. Bring rest to our restless spirits, in and amongst our anxieties and worry, assure us of your presence in our home, our families and within the challenges of life. Let your peace reign in our lives and everywhere always, always. Grant that, as by your death you recalled us to life, so by your continual presence in us, raise us to eternal joy; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen
