Lent Studies 2026

Journeying to the Cross – Growing in Faith Together

Lent is a season of reflection, repentance, and renewal as we prepare our hearts for Easter. During Lent 2026, we invite you to join us for a series of weekly studies designed to help us slow down, listen to God’s voice, and deepen our discipleship.

What to Expect

Our Lent Studies will explore key themes of the season — prayer, surrender, sacrifice, hope, and resurrection life. Each session will include:

  • A short Bible reflection

  • Guided discussion in small groups

  • Time for prayer and response

  • Practical encouragement for daily Christian living

Whether you are new to faith or have been following Christ for many years, these evenings are an opportunity to grow together in grace.

Who Can Attend?

Everyone is welcome. You don’t need any prior knowledge — just a willingness to reflect and engage. If you are exploring faith, Lent is a meaningful time to ask deeper questions and discover more about Jesus.

When & Where

Our Lent Study groups will meet weekly throughout the season of Lent in St Sebastian’s Church. We will have two study groups, one at 10am and another at 8pm, starting on 25th February 2026 for 5 weeks.

Come and walk the road to Easter with us.
Let this Lent be a time of renewal, restoration, and rediscovery of the hope we have in Christ.

Let us pray: Merciful Lord, absolve your people from their offences, that through your bountiful goodness we may all be delivered from the chains of those sins which by our frailty we have committed; grant this, heavenly Father, for Jesus Christ’s sake, our blessed Lord and Saviour, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen
